Intrum has reached an agreement to purchase 100% of Haya Real Estate for 140 million euros. This transaction will mean the integration of Haya Real Estate into the Intrum structure in Spain, thus expanding its client portfolio and volume of assets under management.
Specifically, the operation will increase the volume of assets under management of Intrum in Spain by nearly 11,000 million euros currently managed by Haya, which includes 105,000 real estate assets.
In addition, the agreement will strengthen Intrum's Phone Lead relationship with Cerberus and expand the company's business with some of the main Spanish financial entities such as BBVA, CaixaBank or Grupo Cooperativo Cajamar.
The integration of Haya Real Estate will add a team of more than 550 professionals to Intrum's business in Spain.
The company expects the operation to be completed in the third quarter, subject to approval by the competition authority in Spain and the formal cancellation of the guarantees on the company's shares and assets.
Haya Real Estate reached, at the end of 2022, a transaction volume of 2,438 million euros and recorded income of 173.7 million euros.
